Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south-west through the channel between the mainland and Île des Embiez. Shallow lagoon with sandbanks on both sides of the marked channel. Maximum draught 2 m at the entrance. VHF channel 9. Exposed to strong southerly winds that push swell into the outer basin.
Practical
Around 900 berths managed by the municipal harbour office. Fuel berth with diesel and petrol. Water and electricity on the pontoons. Sanitary block with showers. Chandlery and small yards on the quay. Bakery, butcher and grocery within 200 m of the harbour office.
Ashore
Ferry shuttle across to Île des Embiez in 10 minutes from the fish quay. Coastal path north-west to the Gaou islands nature area, about 1 km. Plage de Bonnegrâce sandy beach 600 m north of the harbour. Weekly market on Thursday morning on place Charles de Gaulle.
