Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south leaving the Petit Rouveau cardinal to port. Fonds de roche with sand patches, 4 to 8 metres. Sheltered from north through north-east sectors by the Embiez massif. Exposed to the south and the prevailing swell, vacate in a rising southerly.
Practical
No services. Saint Pierre des Embiez 0.5 NM north has a 750-berth marina with diesel, water and crane, Le Brusc 0.8 NM north-east offers sheltered visitor berths behind the breakwater.
Ashore
The Embiez archipelago is owned by the Paul Ricard foundation and hosts a marine biology institute with public aquarium on the main island. Marked paths cross the island past the old salt marshes. Le Brusc village has a fish market on the quay every morning.
