Approach and anchoring
Approach inside the gulf where tidal streams run hard, up to 6 knots in the Grande Passe off Port-Navalo on spring tides. Work the tide and use the Arz channel. Sheltered from W, SW and S, exposed to the north and north-east.
Practical
No facilities on the anchorage. Cale du Beluré is 1.6 NM N for landing by tender. Arz village pontoon lies 0.7 NM NW with water and a small shop.
Ashore
Île d'Arz coastal path runs the whole perimeter of the island, about 17 km marked. Tidal mill of Berno on the south shore, restored 18th-century building. Passenger ferry from Béluré pontoon links to Vannes and Conleau for day trips.
