Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Golfe du Morbihan through the chenal de Vannes, then head SE into the Anse de Badel. The harbour dries at low water, plan entry around high water. Strong tidal streams at the Kerpenhir narrows and Port-Navalo pass on the way in.
Practical
Mooring buoys and a short quay, no visitor facilities on site. Water point at the slipway. Port Anna at Séné 0,8 NM to the NW has fuel, a crane and a chandler. Chantier Caudard 1,1 NM to the N for haul-out.
Ashore
Réserve naturelle des marais de Séné starts within 1 km, birdwatching hides around the former saltworks. Village of Séné with bakery and small shops about 1,5 km from the port. Vannes old town with its medieval ramparts is 4 km by road to the NW.
