Approach and anchoring
Approach from the main channel of the Golfe du Morbihan between Île aux Moines and Île d'Arz. Strong tidal streams run through the gulf, up to 8 knots at the Passage de la Jument on springs. Pick up a buoy rather than anchoring: the bottom is sand mixed with eelgrass beds. Harbour office on VHF 9.
Practical
61 buoys managed by the local authority. Cale du Beluré slipway 1 NM to the north on Île d'Arz. Village of Le Béluré for basic shops, bakery and a few restaurants. Ferry link to Vannes from the island pier.
Ashore
Coastal path around Île d'Arz covering roughly 17 km, marked and accessible from the pier. Moulin de Berno tide mill to the south of the island, one of the few working tide mills in France. Bike rentals near the ferry pier.
