Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south between Ile des Embiez and the mainland. The pass is shallow and rock-strewn, with charted heads to avoid on either side. Holding is on rock, so divers often check the set of the anchor. Exposed to the west and south-west; shelter from N, NE, E and NW only.
Practical
No services on the spot. Le Brusc harbour lies 0.6 nm north with water, fuel and provisioning. Saint Pierre des Embiez marina, 1.3 nm NW on the island, offers full services and VHF contact with the capitainerie.
Ashore
Landing by tender on Ile du Grand Rouveau, uninhabited, gives access to the 1861 lighthouse and a marked path around the island. The Embiez nature reserve managed by the Fondation Paul Ricard runs a small aquarium at Saint Pierre, about 1.3 nm away.
