Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east, keeping clear of the drying rocks that fringe the point. Protection from NW through N to W, exposed to E and S. Tidal range on springs exceeds 11 m in this part of the bay of Saint-Malo, so allow for scope and watch the swinging circle.
Practical
No services on site. Saint-Cast Port-d'Armor marina lies 2.1 nm SE for fuel, water, electricity and full shore services. Les Hopitaux anchorage is 5.2 nm W as a secondary fallback.
Ashore
The GR 34 coastal path, known locally as the sentier des douaniers, runs along the cliff above the point and links Saint-Cast-le-Guildo to Cap Frehel about 10 km further west, with the Fort La Latte medieval castle on the way.
