Approach and anchoring
Approach through the Chambre des Glénan between Saint-Nicolas, Bananec and Penfret. Sand bottom gives good holding. Exposed to west and north-west, avoid in fresh westerlies.
Practical
Water available. Harbour 0.2 nm south. Port de Trévignon 7.3 nm north-east as a mainland refuge.
Ashore
Footpath across the island to the sandbar linking Saint-Nicolas to Bananec at low water. Centre International de Plongée and the Glénan sailing school base on the island.
