Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south along the coast of Groix, east of Port-Tudy. The cove opens between Pointe de la Croix and Pointe des Chats. Anchor on sand in 4 to 8 metres, exposed from west to south. VHF 6 for coordination with local traffic.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Capacity for around 70 boats. The small harbour called Port at 0.2 nm west offers limited shelter. Port de Trévignon lies 7.3 nm to the northeast on the mainland.
Ashore
Réserve naturelle François Le Bail, protecting the garnet-bearing schists of the Pointe des Chats, starts on the shore. Coastal path GR 34 runs along the top of the cliffs. Semaphore and lighthouse of Pen Men 5 km northwest. Bourg of Groix, the island's main village, 2 km north.
