Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south with the Île du Levant visible to the east. Drop on sand in 5 to 8 metres clear of swimmer buoys marking the bathing zone close inshore. Holding sheltered from NW through N to W, fully open to the southerly swell that builds with onshore breeze.
Practical
No services on site. Le Lavandou harbour lies 2.2 NM west with water, diesel and chandlery, Bormes-les-Mimosas marina 2.9 NM SW. Tender landing possible at the east end of the beach outside the swimming line.
Ashore
Naturist beach of Le Layet runs along the cove, backed by the coastal path GR 51 linking Cavalière to Pramousquier over 2 km. Restaurant de la plage du Layet open in season at the beach. Cavalière village and shops sit 1 km west by the coast road.
