Approach and anchoring
Sand bottom, good holding. Protected from N, NE, E and NW, open to the south and west. Approach from the south keeping clear of the coastal swimming zones marked by yellow buoys from June to September.
Practical
No services on the anchorage. Port du Lavandou at 1.5 NM south-west offers water, fuel, and all shore services. Bormes-les-Mimosas at 2.3 NM south-west is an alternative.
Ashore
Le Lavandou beachfront with twelve sand beaches along 12 km of coast between La Fossette and Cabasson. Ferry from Le Lavandou to the Île du Levant and Port-Cros, part of the Parc national de Port-Cros, in season.
