Approach and anchoring
Open roadstead exposed to the south. Protected from the N, NW and NE sectors by the Maures massif. Approach from the south clear of obstructions. Mistral gusts can reach the bay.
Practical
Le Lavandou harbour is 1 mille to the SW with visitor berths, fuel and full services. Bormes-les-Mimosas marina is 1,8 milles SW. Anchor clear of the posidonia seagrass, which is protected under French law; use sand patches only.
Ashore
Sentier du littoral runs along the coastline linking La Fossette to Cavalière beach to the east and to Le Lavandou to the west. Shops and restaurants in Le Lavandou village.
