Approach and anchoring
Approach from seaward with no off-lying dangers in the bay. Sand bottom, holding generally good. Keep clear of the swim zone marked by yellow buoys between 15 June and 15 September, 300 m from the shoreline. No night lighting.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no mooring buoys and no services. Drop the hook in 4 to 8 m on sand. Le Lavandou harbour lies 3.5 NM west for fuel, water and provisions, Cavalaire 4 NM east.
Ashore
Sand beach in front of the anchorage, tender landing possible outside the swim zone. Small shops and restaurants along the coast road at Pramousquier and Cavaliere hamlets. The GR 51 coastal path runs behind the beach toward Cap Negre.
