Approach and anchoring
Open approach from the south on the Golfe de Saint-Tropez side. Sand and rock bottom, so pick up a buoy rather than anchoring on the posidonia. Protected from N, NE and NW; exposed to the south and to easterly swell. Cavalaire harbour lies 2.9 nm east, Le Lavandou 4.7 nm west as fallbacks.

Seasonal ZMEL buoy field managed by the commune, typically in place from May to October. No water or fuel on the buoy field; nearest services at Cavalaire marina.
Ashore
Domaine du Rayol botanical garden rises directly above the cove, around 20 hectares of Mediterranean-climate plants run by the Conservatoire du Littoral. Sentier du littoral runs east along the shore towards Cap Nègre. Small grocery and bakery in Le Rayol village on the coast road.
