Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south in clear water. Watch the rocky heads fringing the Trevignon peninsula to the W; give the headland a wide berth and identify the cardinal marks before closing in. Holding on clean sand. Shelter from NW through N to E; exposed to S and SW, which raise a short swell on a rising tide.
Practical
No services on the mooring. Port de Trevignon lies 0.6 nm west with a small fishing and yacht harbour, water on the quay and a few shops in the village. Rosbras up the Aven river is 4 nm east.
Ashore
GR34 coastal path runs behind the beach, leading west to the Pointe de Trevignon and its 19th-century semaphore in about 1 km. Village of Tregunc 4 km inland, with weekly market on Tuesday morning.
