Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south between Pointe de Trévignon and Pointe de Beg Morg. Rock heads extend off both points, keep at least 300 m from the shore until inside the bay. Exposed to SW swell, not tenable in fresh southerlies. Chenal well outside the line of the Îles de Glénan reefs to the south.
Practical
Open anchorage on sand, good holding in settled weather. No services. Port de Trévignon 1.6 nm W with harbour and fish quay, Port Manec'h 3 nm E at the mouth of the Aven and Bélon for a fully sheltered alternative.
Ashore
Dourveil beach is backed by dunes and the coast path GR34 running west to Trévignon harbour and east to Raguenez. The Îles de Glénan archipelago lies about 8 nm offshore to the south with its sailing school founded in 1947.
