Approach and anchoring
Approach from S clear of the rocky plateau of Men Du and the Roches de Trévignon marked by beacons. Sand holding on the bay floor. Shelter from NE through E to SE behind the point, fully exposed to W and SW swell from the Iroise.
Practical
Forain anchorage with water tap at the slipway ashore. Port de Trévignon 0.1 nm SE, a small tidal fishing harbour, offers walk-ashore access. Rosbras upriver on the Aven at 4.7 nm E is the next proper shelter.
Ashore
Pointe de Trévignon with its semaphore and former 1840s coastguard station, walks around the coastal ponds classified as a départemental sensitive natural area. GR34 continues E towards the Îles Glénan crossings from Port-la-Forêt. Trégunc village at about 4 km with full shops, and the Pardon de Saint-Philibert in August.
