Approach and anchoring
Enter the Aven from Port Manec'h and follow the buoyed channel upstream for about 2 nm. Pick up a visitor buoy in the anse. Sand and mud bottom. The river is sheltered from N, NW, NE, W, E and SW. Tidal streams run up to 2 knots on the springs.
Practical
No pontoon. Dinghy ashore at Kerdruc 0.4 nm north, with a restaurant on the quay and a small grocery. Rosbras village on the opposite bank has a second restaurant. Water at Kerdruc on request.
Ashore
Towpath along the Aven leads to Pont-Aven in 4 km on foot, the village where Gauguin and the Pont-Aven School painted from 1886. Bakery, galleries and the Musée de Pont-Aven in the centre.
