Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south through the buoyed channel leading to Concarneau. Sand bottom with good holding. Shelter from E, SE, S and SW under the lee of the shore. Exposed to the westerly and north-westerly sectors. VHF 9 for Concarneau harbour office.
Practical
No services at the anchorage itself. Port de Plaisance de Concarneau is 0.5 nm north with fuel, water, showers and visitor berths. Cap Coz harbour on the opposite side of the bay is 3.1 nm NW.
Ashore
Concarneau old town, the Ville Close inside its 14th century fortified walls, is reachable on foot or by dinghy in 15 minutes. Musée de la Pêche inside the Ville Close. Daily market on Place Jean Jaurès on Mondays and Fridays.
