Guide
Approach and anchoring
The approach follows the buoyed channel of the rivière de Pénerf, which dries over wide mud flats at low water. Tidal streams are significant at the entrance. The bottom is mud, with fair holding once well set. Shelter is from NW through N and NE, and partly from W, with open exposure to S and SE.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Port de Pénerf, 3.4 nm to the W, is a small traditional oyster and fishing harbour at the mouth of the river. The anse de Bénance lies 3.7 nm to the W.
