Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south across the Plateau des Mâts de Kervoyal, keeping clear of the rocky heads marked by the Borenis cardinal buoys. Bottom is sand and mud, holding good. Sheltered from NW through N to SW, fully open to E and SE. Best used in settled westerly weather or for a lunch stop at low water.
Practical
No facilities. Nearest shelter is Port de Penerf at 2.9 NM W, a tidal fishing harbour, or Anse d'Ibenn at 3.3 NM W.
Ashore
Kervoyal beach fronts the anchorage, with a small lighthouse on the point and the coastal path GR 34 running east toward Penerf and west toward Damgan village 1 km away. Oyster beds of the Rivière de Penerf are worked just west of the anchorage.
