Approach from the south. Bottom mixes sand and posidonia, so set the anchor on a clear sand patch to avoid damaging the seagrass. Sheltered from NW through SE winds, fully exposed to the SW swell.

Anchoring is restricted along this stretch under the Var prefecture decree on posidonia protection. Nearest refuges are Cavalaire 2.7 nm NE and Le Lavandou 4.8 nm W.
Ashore
Domaine du Rayol botanical garden is about 500 m from the shoreline, run by the Conservatoire du Littoral, with Mediterranean-climate plant collections. Coastal path links east to Cap Nègre and west to Pramousquier beach.
