Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south-east between the rocky heads of the Pianottoli coast. Mixed bottom of sand, posidonia and mud; drop in sand patches only as posidonia is protected by Corsican regulation. Shelter from NW through N to W; exposed to SE libeccio swell.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Port of Pianottoli-Caldarello 1 NM NE for water, fuel and groceries. Commercial marina of Bonifacio 6.3 NM SE for full marina services.
Ashore
Genoese watchtower of Caldarello on the headland. Sentier des Douaniers coastal path links the cove to Pianottoli village in 25 minutes walking.
