Small harbour on the south coast of Corsica, about 12 km west of Bonifacio, sheltered behind the Bruzzi islets.

Approach and anchoring

Approach from the south between the Bruzzi islets and the mainland. Marked channel winding through granite reefs. Maximum draught 10 m inside the basin but the approach shallows quickly outside the buoys. VHF channel 9. Not to be attempted at night or with strong southerly winds that break on the outer rocks.

Practical

230 berths on pontoons. Water and electricity at the berths. Showers in the sanitary block. No dedicated fuel berth at the port. Small grocery at the village of Pianottoli-Caldarello 1,5 km inland. Restaurant on the quay in season.

Ashore

Bruzzi nature site 2 km west of the harbour, granite coastline classified by the Conservatoire du Littoral. Plage de Chevanu sandy beach at 2,5 km by road. Inland village of Pianottoli-Caldarello with its romanesque chapel of San Giovanni, 12th century, at 1,5 km.
