Approach and anchoring

Straight approach from seaward on a flat sandy coast. Sand bottom gives good holding. Shelter from north, north-west and north-east only; fully exposed to the south and to the marin wind that pushes swell onto the beach.

Practical

No services at anchor. Frontignan plage lies 1.3 nm to the south-west, the town harbour of Frontignan 1.9 nm to the west via the canal.

Ashore

Long sandy lido backed by the Etang d'Ingril, part of the Natura 2000 Etangs Palavasiens wetlands. Shops and restaurants along the seafront of Frontignan plage, train station at Frontignan town for TER services to Sete and Montpellier.
