Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north at mid to high water, with care for the rocky plateaus typical of this coast. Sand bottom under the buoys. Protection from west through south to southeast; exposed to the north sector and associated swell, which builds quickly in winds above 15 knots.
Practical
Seasonal mooring buoys off the beach, no services on site. Nearest shelter at Poulennou 1.5 NM east, and port of Plouescat 2.7 NM southwest for provisioning.
Ashore
Beach of Kerfissien directly inshore, sand and low dunes. GR 34 coastal path runs behind the beach and links Cleder 2 km east and Plouescat 3 km southwest on foot.
