Approach and anchoring
Approach on rising water through a rock strewn foreshore that dries extensively at low water; the area is studded with granite heads and islets typical of the Leon coast. Sand and rock bottom. Shelter from NE, E, S, SE and SW; open to the NW where the prevailing swell enters. Tidal range above 7 m in springs, check rise before picking up a buoy.
Practical
Visitor buoys managed by the commune. No services on the beach. Moll 2.1 NM NE and Port de plaisance de Roscoff-Bloscon 2.9 NM E for fuel, water and full marina facilities.
Ashore
GR 34 coastal path runs behind the beach, 5 km west to the chapel of Saint-Roch at Sibiril and 10 km east to the old harbour of Roscoff. Ile de Batz ferry from Roscoff every 30 minutes in summer.
