Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north of the Île de Batz, keeping clear of the many drying rocks that fringe the coast. Sand and weed bottom, holding variable where patches of algae cover the sand. Shelter from N, NE and E winds. Exposed to the west and south-west where the Channel swell works around the island.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Moll 0.4 NM to the east as a closer alternative shelter. Port de plaisance de Roscoff-Bloscon 2.5 NM to the SE, with pontoons, water, diesel and repair facilities.
Ashore
Île de Batz footpath loop of 11 km follows the coast past Porz Leien. Georges Delaselle exotic garden on the east of the island, planted from 1897, with more than 2 500 species. Passenger ferry from Roscoff runs year-round, crossing of 15 minutes.
