Approach and anchoring
Approach from the N, rounding the Pointe de Beg Léguer which carries a lighthouse. Sand bottom. Sheltered from NE, E and SE winds, exposed to the prevailing W and NW. The Léguer estuary dries above the bar and should only be entered near high water.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no services. Beg hent 0.8 NM SE and Port du Yaudet 1 NM SE offer more shelter inside the estuary. Town of Lannion 4 km upriver with full shops and services.
Ashore
Beg Léguer lighthouse built in 1881 stands above the point. Sentier des douaniers GR34 follows the clifftop towards Trédrez-Locquémeau to the W and the Léguer mouth to the E.
