Approach and anchoring
Freshwater navigation, no tide. Approach from the open lake, depths shelve gradually towards the reed belt on the west bank. Mud bottom, holding generally good. Exposed to westerly winds that funnel down from the Chartreuse. Keep clear of the swim area off the public beach in summer.
Practical
No facilities at the mooring. Le Bourget-du-Lac harbour 1.4 NM to the west for water, fuel and a dinghy landing. Shops and restaurants in the village within 400 m of the marina.
Ashore
Abbey of Saint-Maurice in Le Bourget-du-Lac village, with cloister from the 13th century. Lakeside path towards Aix-les-Bains along the eastern shore. Chartreuse massif trailheads accessible by road from the village.
