Approach and anchoring
Reached from Essex Bay by the Essex River channel, which winds through tidal marsh and dries in parts at low water. The water inside the marina stays wake-free.
Practical
There are 51 wet berths plus 4 floats for personal watercraft. The yard handles boat sales, repairs and maintenance, and is a factory-authorised service centre for Mercury, Yamaha, Evinrude and Johnson. Free parking on site. Harbour master on 978-768-7161.
History
The marina was established in 1959 by Leonard E. Pike and is now in its third generation of family ownership.
