Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached from Ipswich Bay through Plum Island Sound and the Ipswich River. Sandbars shift near the river mouth; enter on a rising tide and follow current charts. Launch service runs daily between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Practical
A small number of club moorings are open to visitors through the Dockwa app, for up to 10 nights per summer. Mooring rental includes the launch service, restrooms, showers and use of the dining room overlooking Plum Island and the bay. It does not allow berthing alongside the floats except to refuel. Petrol and diesel are sold to the public at the fuel berth.
