Approach and anchoring
The basin sits a little off the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway at Mile Marker 7, which keeps it sheltered and eases the approach for transiting boats. Boca Grande Pass and Stump Pass both give access to the Gulf of Mexico nearby.
Practical
Dry stack storage for vessels up to 40 feet and wet slips up to 65 feet, with a fuel berth, a marine service department and boat hire. The marina is on Placida Road, with a seafood restaurant on site.
Ashore
Palm Island Marina lies about 0.1 miles west and Cape Haze Marina about 0.3 miles north-west. The barrier-island beaches of Gasparilla Island are a short run down the waterway.
