Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach into Greenwich Cove from the Sound, leaving Greenwich Point to the east. Members keep boats on town moorings in the cove, allocated by the Greenwich Harbor Master, with club launch service to and from the waterfront clubhouse.
Practical
Founded in 1943, the club is open to Greenwich residents. It runs a launch service, a sailing fleet of Ideal 18 keelboats, and a kayak and paddleboard programme. The clubhouse has a deck and grills for members.
Ashore
Greenwich Point park surrounds the cove, with a shore path and a beach on Long Island Sound a short walk from the clubhouse. The Bruce Museum lies about 4 km west in central Greenwich.
