Approach and anchoring
Manhasset Bay opens off Long Island Sound east of the Throgs Neck Bridge and is one of the most sheltered harbours on the Sound. The club's moorings sit on the north shore of the bay, with a short, clear run out to the Sound.
Practical
Member club with a well-protected mooring field and a small number of guest moorings. The club fleet runs from one-design dinghies and Lasers to keelboats, and a Colgate 26 is run as a shared boat. Junior and adult sailing activity through the season.
History
The club was founded in 1871 and has occupied its site on the north shore of Manhasset Bay since 1933.
