Approach and anchoring

Manhasset Bay gives shelter from most directions and lies a short run from New York City waters. Maximum draught about 2.4 metres. The marina monitors VHF channel 9; floating docks carry roughly 2.4 metres of water.

Practical

Around 10 visitor berths on floating docks. Day dock-and-dine berthing is first come first served at 1.50 dollars per foot with a 3 hour limit. Petrol available, including non-ethanol fuel. Mechanical repairs, ice, restrooms, showers, laundry, free wifi and 24 hour security. Open daily 0800 to 2000 through to Labor Day.
