Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south in open water. Seabed is posidonia meadow, hence the regulated buoys to avoid anchoring on the seagrass. Shelter from N, NW and NE winds from the coastline. Exposed to S and SE swell.
Practical
Pick up a mooring buoy rather than dropping anchor. Port Miramar sits 0.4 nm to the NE for fuel, water and shops. Port de Maravenne is 0.6 nm NE as an alternative refuge.
Ashore
Miramar beach runs along the mooring. Shops, bakery and restaurants in the Miramar seaside district within 400 m of the marina. Coastal path toward Pointe du Bouvet and the Salins des Pesquiers salt marshes to the west.
