Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, clear of the Île de Léoube rock to the east of the bay. Sand holding mixed with posidonia patches: drop on light sand spots to avoid fouling the algae and to comply with the posidonia protection rules in force along this coast. Shelter from N through E winds. Exposed to S and SW swell.
Practical
Mooring forain only, no buoy field, no services on the beach. Closest refuges at Port Maravenne and Port Miramar, 1.7 NM west.
Ashore
Beach of the Domaine de Léoube, a wine estate producing Côtes de Provence AOC rosé with tastings at the cellar behind the beach. Restaurant Le Café Léoube on the sand, seasonal. Coastal path sentier du littoral east towards Cap de Brégançon fort, residence of the French President, around 2 km on foot.
