Marina on Clubfoot Creek near its mouth on the Neuse River, off NC Highway 101 east of Havelock, North Carolina.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Set on a point of land where Clubfoot Creek meets the Neuse, on the river's south side between New Bern and Pamlico Sound. The natural creek channel is marked by the US Coast Guard and needs no dredging; many berths carry around 6.5 feet over a soft bottom.
Practical
Wet berths for sail and power craft, with deep-water depths suited to keelboats. Seven RV sites are let long-term on the grounds. The site is now run as Bishop's Marina and RV Park.
History
The marina has been run by the Matthews family since the 1950s.
