Approach and anchoring
Lies on the south bank of the Neuse, a short run off the Intracoastal Waterway. The marked approach holds good depth into the basin. The site is well sheltered and used as a hurricane hole by Neuse River boaters.
Practical
About 135 berths for boats up to 45 feet, plus dry storage to 60 feet. Boatyard with a 60-ton travel lift handling craft to 60 feet and 19 feet of beam. Laundry, boaters' lounge and pump-out on site.
History
Built in 1980 as Minnesott Beach Yacht Basin, the marina was renamed Wayfarers Cove in 2004.
