Approach and anchoring
The harbour is entered between Mattapoisett Neck and Strawberry Point, with a buoyed channel threading the ledges in the approach. Ned Point light marks the entrance. From Buzzards Bay, leave green can No. 1 off Mattapoisett Ledge to port when turning into the channel. Anchorage off the town carries 13 to 17 feet. VHF 68.
Practical
Moorings for rent and a fuel berth with petrol and diesel. The yard handles haul-out, pump-out, repair and winter storage. Shore power at 30 amps, fresh water, ice, restrooms and showers ashore. Launch service to the moorings.
History
The yard has been family owned and run since 1962. It services inboard and outboard engines of most makes.
