Approach and anchoring
Off Buzzards Bay near the eastern shore of Fairhaven, around the protected coves of West Island. Brandt Cove Marina lies 2.2 nautical miles to the north-east.
Practical
109 seasonal berths and 63 visitor moorings in protected water. Petrol and diesel at the fuel berth, open daily through the boating season, plus pump-out and a ship store. Off the Hook Bar and Grill is on site.
Ashore
West Island State Reservation covers more than 300 acres next to the marina, with about two miles of unmarked trails through woods and salt marsh out to the shore of Nasketucket Bay. West Island Town Beach runs along the crescent-shaped southern shore of the island.
