Approach and anchoring
Reached from Saco Bay through the Camp Ellis harbour entrance, then up the Saco River. Depths of around 10 feet reported alongside the floats. The river is tidal, so allow for the rise and fall when berthing.
Practical
About 120 slips for boats from 18 to 28 feet, plus 15 river moorings for craft around 30 feet. 30 amp 120V shore power at the towers, fresh water, and a fuel berth pumping 89 octane petrol with E10 as a Valvtect dealer. Open winter storage on site. Harbour office on 207 283-3727.
Ashore
Town of Saco about 2 miles upriver for shops and provisions. Saco Bay beaches and the village of Camp Ellis lie downriver near the river mouth.
