Approach and anchoring

Reached from the sea up the Kennebunk River. The channel is tidal, so plan the approach with the tide and check the river depths before entering.

Practical

Founded in 1968 by Booth Chick and run by the Katz family since the early 1990s. Slips are dredged to 7 feet at low water and take vessels up to 165 feet. The fuel berth supplies 91 octane petrol and ultra-low sulphur diesel. Indoor heated storage is available out of season.

Ashore

Dock Square, the centre of Kennebunkport with shops, galleries and restaurants, is a short walk from the marina. Several sandy beaches lie within easy reach of the town.
