Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the open sea to the east, steering clear of the rocky fringes along the shore. Anchor on sand in 3 to 6 metres. Protection covers the northwest, west and southwest. The roadstead is open to the eastern sector and should be left if a libeccio clocks round to the east.
Practical
No facilities on site. Solenzara harbour is 1.2 NM to the south for fuel, water and full provisioning. Marina di Fiori lies 16.8 NM to the south.
Ashore
Sand and reddish pebble beach below pinewoods. The Solenzara river valley opens the road to the Bavella pass and its granite needles at about 30 km from the coast.
