Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Chesapeake Bay by following the Elk River towards Elkton. Dockside depth is around 5 ft, suiting shallow-draught boats. The Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, the link to Delaware Bay, lies a short run downriver.
Practical
There are 92 berths, two kept for visiting boats, on fixed docks with water and 30-amp shore power. A launching ramp, ship store, pump-out, showers, a pool and WiFi are on site. The yard offers dry storage but no travel lift or crane. The marina has been family-run since 1955.
