Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach via the main channel of the gulf. Holding on mud is good. Shelter from N, NE, E, S and SE, open only to the west. Tidal streams in the Morbihan narrows reach 5 to 8 knots at springs, plan the approach around slack water or with the fair tide.
Practical
No services at the anchorage itself. Sene badel is 2.4 nautical miles NW. Chantier Caudard lies 3.1 nautical miles NW for yard services.
Ashore
Île-aux-Moines, one of the largest islands in the gulf, is reachable by dinghy. Footpaths circle the island past oak woods and the Bois d'Amour. Arradon village sits on the north shore with shops and cafés.
