Approach and anchoring
Reached via the Vannes channel after leaving the main Morbihan fairway at the Grand Mouton cardinal. Strong tidal streams in the narrows, up to 5 knots on springs. Give way to the Île-aux-Moines ferries. Keep clear of the oyster tables marked by yellow withies east of the channel.
Practical
Buoys managed by the Sinagot Nautical Association. Bottom of weed with patches of mud, holding can be poor. Tender landing at Port-Anna 0.3 NM north, then Conleau 0.6 NM north for water and shops.
Ashore
Footpath along the Conleau peninsula to the small beach of Conleau at about 700 m from the landing. Bus line 6 links Conleau to Vannes medieval centre in 15 min, with the ramparts, Saint-Pierre cathedral and the covered market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
