Approach and anchoring
Reached by the marked Vannes channel that runs north from the Gulf past Port Anna and Conleau. The channel dries in its upper part and is to be taken near high water. Follow the lateral buoys carefully, current can run at up to 3 knots on springs at the narrows of Conleau.
Practical
Yard services for hull, engine, rigging and wintering, travel lift on site. Not a visitor marina. Berths available nearby at Port Anna at 0.8 NM and at the port of Vannes at the head of the channel after the swing bridge.
Ashore
Conleau peninsula and its tidal sea water pool at 0.8 NM, walk round the point by the coastal path. Vannes old town with its ramparts of the thirteenth to seventeenth centuries and half-timbered houses at 2 NM up the channel. Gulf of Morbihan islands, Ile aux Moines and Ile d'Arz, within a short sail to the south.
