Area subject to a tidal range exceeding 10 m at spring tides. The bay largely dries at low water, check the pied de marée before setting the anchor. Port of Paimpol 2,2 NM to the SW, lock giving access to the basin opens around HW plus or minus 1h.
Practical
No service at anchor. All supplies, water, fuel and chandlery at the port of Paimpol. Port Adhoc boatyard 2 NM to the SW for haul-out and wintering.
Ashore
GR 34 coastal path to the Pointe de Guilben to the S and the abbaye de Beauport to the SE, 13th century cistercian abbey, listed as a historical monument. Market at Paimpol on Tuesday morning on the place du Martray.
